Internship: Excellence & Financial Integrity (EFI) Team

Solidaridad Europe is looking for an enthusiastic student to join our Efficiency and Financial Integrity (EFI) team in Utrecht. In this internship you will gain hands-on experience in general project administration, contract processing, and financial workflows, operating across a global network while making a real contribution to our mission.
The Excellence & Financial Integrity (EFI) team serves as the operational and financial backbone of Solidaridad Europe. It provides the governance, systems, processes, and culture necessary to ensure the organization is transparent, financially sound, high-performing, and impact-driven.
About the internship
As a Project Management Support Intern within the EFI team, you will assist with the day-to-day administrative and contracting processes. Working alongside our Project Management Officers, Legal Advisor, and Finance staff, you will help ensure our procedures run smoothly, and that our administration, records, and information in our systems are accurate and reliable.
This internship includes carrying out the following tasks in particular:
- Contract System Registration: Assist with entering, updating, sign off and maintaining contract and partner data in our internal systems (Salesforce / Plaza / DocuSign).
- Contracts: Draft contracts and contract amendments using Solidaridad’s standard templates, ensure contracts are complete and meet legal requirements and internal quality standards.
- Payment Requests: Draft requests for payment, update status, and facilitate timely processing.
- Documentation & Archiving: Support organize and archive digital project and contract documents, maintaining compliance with quality standards.
- Process & System Support: Assist in data checks, signaling potential process improvements, and keeping records complete and up to date.
- General Administrative Support: Support EFI team with administrative and reporting queries, and routine task follow-ups.
Profile
We are looking for a student who pays close attention to detail, enjoys working with digital systems and numbers, and who is eager to understand how digital systems support the effective implementation and development of our programs.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in studies related to Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, International Development, or another relevant field at a Dutch HBO or Dutch University.
- High degree of accuracy.
- Interest or affinity with digital information systems (prior experience with platforms like Salesforce is a plus, but not required).
- Basic understanding of or strong interest in administrative and financial processes.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- A collaborative, service-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Eligible to undertake an internship in the Netherlands.
