About Solidaridad

Solidaridad is a global civil society organization working to foster sustainable production practices across multiple supply chains. Our mission is to bring together supply chain actors and engage them in innovative solutions that improve production practices and ensure a sustainable and inclusive economy that maximizes benefits for all.

Solidaridad is an international network organization with seven Regional Expertise Centers (RECs) located in Asia, Southern Africa, East and Central Africa, West Africa, Latin America, North America, and Europe. Globally, we work across 13 commodities in more than 40 countries.

In Europe, Solidaridad focuses on market development, corporate engagement, policy influencing, communications, and donor relations, working closely with brands, policymakers, and civil society.

What will you do?

As an Intern Planning Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning you will work on developing our institutional learning and information exchange environment. You will have a supporting role with plenty of room for creativity and your own responsibilities. Your tasks include:

  • Support the design of self-paced online modules in our Learning Management Platform  
  • Support the institutional development for our global onboarding programme 
  • Review earlier experiences in this field of work (onboarding, internal communication, digital tools, online learning)
  • Skills: Familiarity with design platforms like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator). 
  • Proficiency in creating modern, clean presentation decks (moving far beyond basic, bullet-heavy PowerPoint slides). 

Who are we looking for?

  • You are in the third or fourth year of a relevant HBO or university degree, based in the Netherlands
  • You are looking for an internship for at least 4 months with a minimum of 16 hours/week
  • You are tech-savvy and are quick to learn new tools, plugins, or platform updates with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Excellent command of English 
  • Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands
